My name is Coral. I am a happily married mother of one teenage son.
I am Nelson born and bred, starting my life adventure in Stoke until my family moved to Wakefield when I was 10 years old. Living in the country, my love of horses became a big part of my life.
At the tender age of 18, I met my life partner Geoff. He is a very clever mechanic and in 1995 we chose to move to Blenheim when the opportuntity to own our own business came up. Two years later we became parents and spent the next seventeen years raising our son and running our automotive business.
In 2012 we closed the business and went back to being employees, Geoff currently works for Yealands Wines and I have been working in Blenheim delivering meals to the elderly.
It soon became obvious to me that this is a fantastic service which helps the elderly to stay in thier own homes for longer and was a job which I enjoyed immensely. I talked to Geoff about possibly providing this service to the people of Nelson. He was 100% supportitive and so here we are.
It's a product and service I am very passionate about.
I am a very happy friendly person so this kind of personal service is a perfect fit for me. One of my previous customers once called me her Joy Germ, when I asked her what she meant, she replied "Well Coral, you come in here every day spreading your joy around".
I've always taken pride in the dinners I cook for my family.
As they say 'Prepared with Love'
I guarantee all meals are prepared and cooked with the same amount of love, care and pride.
I have also completed the "Safe Food Handler" course and have the certificate.
